ABOUT POLICY AFRICA

Policy Africa is a non-for-profit online journal that seeks to address issues of policy and development in Nigeria and other parts of Africa. Due to the high rate of poverty and infrastructural deficit in Africa, the importance of conceptualizing and implementing policies that meets the peculiar needs of countries of the continent cannot be overemphasized.

With the abundance of human and natural resources in Africa, the continent has the potential for greatness and becoming a major player in global affairs. So, Policy Africa seeks to look at how government and private institutions can develop policies and programmes that are masses friendly and focused on citizen empowerment.

Policy Africa is published by Jessica Oluebube Nnaeto, who also serves as the Editor of the Journal. Jessica leads a dynamic team in the important task of critically looking at policy and development issues in the continent and providing a platform for effective engagement. 

Jessica Oluebube Nnaeto, is a graduate of History and International Studies from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. While in the university she was a student leader and got involved in several community development projects within and outside the campus community. These experiences helped in building her interest and desire to seeing a positive change in her country. This drive eventually gave rise to the founding of Policy Africa.
